We are dedicated to restoring artwork to its original luster. With ages, colors lose their vibrancy because the old varnish tends to create a brownish yellow haze over the painting. In the studio the restorer uses knowledge of color and technique to rectify the damage.
Our restorers are skilled in canvas repair as well. Once repaired, a tear is filled and textured to imitate the original canvas or paint texture. Services offered include: clean and varnish, conditioning, linoxyn removal, linen facing and full backing, fill-in with putty, and blanching.
